Carpal
Tunnel
The Carpal Tunnel is a passageway at the base of
the palm in which nine flexor tendons, the median nerve and arteries
pass through and supply movement and function to the fingers and
wrist. Pinching of the Median nerve causes numbness and tingling in
the area of the thumb, index and middle fingers and half of the ring
finger. There are many different forms of treatment including the
use of the HandMaster Plus® and wrist adjustments as well as using
ice to reduce the inflammation and to help retrain the flexor and
extensor muscle groups.
