Our Team
Dr. Sandy Macleod
Dr. Macleod graduated from Palmer College of
Chiropractic in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate of
Chiropractic. He became interested in the profession after being
exposed to Chiropractic for injuries sustained from football that
refused to heal with conventional use of drugs. Those few adjustments
that corrected his spinal pain in one week intrigued him enough to
investigate the profession. Early in his career he had the
opportunity to practice and learn from several well established
Chiropractors that combined for well over 100 years of experience.
His early years spent with Dr. Carl Phillips DC, ND helped shape him
into the Doctor he is today. Later with Dr.'s Doug Pogue and Don
Watson from Penny Lane Chiropractic he continued to learn and adapt
their techniques into the techniques he uses today. He believes
structure of the body governs the function of the body. If you just
treat the acute problem and do not find out why it happened then
problems inevitably return. He is passionate about Chiropractic and
enjoys watching the benefits his patients see from it everyday.

Therapist for numerous sports teams in the Calgary area, with most
of his time in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with the Calgary
Junior “A” Royals Hockey Club. It was during this time that Dr.
Allan decided to continue his education and get his Doctorate
degree. During his time at school, Dr. Allan received numerous
awards including the Clinical Excellence Award and Who's Who in
American Colleges and Universities. Dr. Allan began his career at
Freedom Chiropractic and Massage in April of 2003 learning from the
